|A double-skin energy-saving curtain wall is an outer building structure consisting of an outer curtain wall and an inner curtain wall.It is also known as a dynamic ventilation curtain wall,hot-channel curtain wall and respiration curtain wall.Compared with conventional curtain walls,double-skin curtain walls can effectively improve the thermal insulation of the outer building structure,indoor ventilation,sound insulation and daylighting.|
Constituting internal and external layers of envelope, double-skin curtain wall is the most advanced curtain wall with the best performance. Compared with traditional facade, it has stronger physical performances and excellent internal external decorative effects. Double-skin curtain walls are also called dynamic ventilating, heat channel or breathing facade. Based on the optimized design and scientific configuration of system, the double-skin facade can improve the thermal performances of external envelope, interior ventilation, acoustic insulation, and interior lighting control. Double-skin curtain wall is a kind of system designing concept rather than a product. It shall be designed specially according to the actual requirements in individual building so as to achieve the comprehensive performances.
As for the characteristics of ventilation and principles,double-skin curtain walls can be classified as natural ventilating (external circulation), mechanic ventilating (internal circulation) and mixed ventilating etc.

Stick Curtain Wall System
|A stick curtain wall is a type of frame-supporting curtain wall that requires on-site installation of individual framing components to form the supporting grid for curtain wall panels.The panels can be made of various materials,including glass,metal,stone,and artificial materials.|
All the constituent components in embedded bracket systems, support frame systems and sheet systems, if installed on construction piece by piece successively, are called structural member type curtain wall.
Structural member type curtain wall has the virtue of being flexible and simple on system configuration, and also highly adaptable and economic, which is especially suitable for shaped, complex building facade, such as triangular and irregular polygon curtain wall, space folding surface curtain wall, convex-concave elevation curtain wall, double-curved faces walls and so on. It flexibly adopts glass, metal plate, stone and artificial plates as its finish materials. Each type of structural member type glass curtain wall of Yuanda has its own unique technical advantages as well as the following common characteristics:
■ Curtain wall components are separated by the use of non-metallic washer to avoid hard contact. Connections between transoms and mullions, mullions and mullions are movable connections with high plane deformation and aseismatic performance which are highly adjustable under the conditions of inter-level drift and temperature-induced deformation without creating additional stress and friction noise.

Unitized Curtain Wall System
|A unitized curtain wall is another type of frame-supporting curtain wall consisting of framing components and panel materials. Such framing components and panel materials are assembled into a single curtain wall unit at our production base. The curtain wall units are then transported to construction sites for installation. The panels can be made of various materials, including glass, metal, stone, and artificial materials.|
The unitized curtain wall means that the unitized panel is assembled by various components of curtain wall (including sheet, supporting frame, etc.) in factory, and delivered to site for the purpose of integral hanging installation, and fixed on the main structure by embedded connective system.Compared with the traditional structural member type curtain wall, the unitized curtain wall has a lot of outstanding advantages:
■ The integral hanging installation is adopted for unitized panel, to achieve fast installation and short site construction period.
■ The fact that it can be constructed synchronously with the main structure and that vertical cross work is allowed, makes for shortening the construction period of the building.
■ As the unitized panel is of high bunch production and, its assembly being completed in factory, high assembly precision, the quality is easy to be controlled.
■ Inlaying method is used for connection among unitized panels. Meanwhile, it has a powerful absorbing capacity for temperature deformation, displacement between stories, seismic deformation, etc.
■ Inlaying method is used for connection among unitized panels, which ensures a high degree of accuracy for installation and positioning as well as high degree of facade flatness.
■ The structural sealing method is adopted among unitized panels, and the traditional jointing sealing sealant has already been replaced by sealing sealant strip, which ensures not only sealing property but also an effective decrease on pollution level on the surface of curtain wall, nice appearance and neatness, with improvement of decorative effect
Semi Unitized Curtain Wall System
|A Semi-unitized curtain wall is a type of curtain wall which has the combined features of stick curtain wall and unitized curtain wall. All components of semi-unitized curtain wall except main keels are fabricated and assembled into unitized panels at our production facilities, and then delivered to construction sites to be fixed on main keels for installation.|
Semi unitized curtain wall is a kind of curtain wall system which is between stick curtain wall and unitized curtain wall, with combined advantages and features. Its basic structural principle is to fabricate other curtain wall components with the exception of main keels, to assembly them into unitized panel, and then to deliver them to construction site for purpose of being fixed on main keels. Compared with regular structural member type glass curtain wall, semi unitized curtain wall has many predominant advantages in terms of bunch production, accuracy degree and quality for fabrication and installation, and repair and maintenance, etc.. ■ As this system is of high bunch production and high fabrication & assembly precision for elements, the quality is easy to be controlled.
■ Fast installation, simple operation, short construction period, and high efficiency of construction.
■ Three layers of sealing is made inside curtain wall, with Rain Screen Principle for water proof purpose, and perfect drainage system is established inside the system. Water resistance and sealing properties are reliable and stable.
■ The dry type structural sealing method is adopted among unitized panels, and the traditional jointing sealing sealant has already been replaced by sealing sealant strip, which ensures not only sealing property, but also an effective decrease on pollution level on the surface of curtain wall, nice appearance and neatness, with improvement of decorative effect.

Point Fixing Curtain Wall
|A point-fixing curtain wall is one type of non-frame curtain wall that consists of glass panels, point-fixing components on such panels and their supporting structures.|
Adopt tensioned cable / rod system as supporting structure of the point-fixing glass curtain wall. The entire structural system is made of cable / rod, stainless steel rod, glass connecting claw and so on. According to the actual situation of the main structure, horizontal and vertical direction could be selected as the main forced direction, tensioned cable / rod on the main forced direction as the bidirectional forced system and could adopt two kinds of form, fish-bellied or cross type.
According to various elements of the system, it could be divided into tensioned cable system, tensioned cable / rod hybrid system and so on, and could be flexible composite applications. tensioned cable / rod system as space tensioned structural support system, the main technical characteristics are as follows.
■ Transparent sense of the whole curtain wal l is rather strong, and the supporting system is simple and generous.
■ The special metallic texture of stainless steel cables, rods and other elements highlights the unique structural aesthetic feeling with a strong decorative effect;

■ Space tensioned structural system needs certain embed dimension, taking up some interior space;
■ In the structural system, all the pre-tension forces are imposed on the main structure at the boundary of curtail wall, and thus a corresponding increase in the bearing capacity of the main structure is required.
Video Curtain Wall
|A video curtain wall is a combination of a curtain wall and LED video control technology. With a LED screen applied to its surface, the curtain wall can achieve various visual and audio effects using the curtain wall’s display and audio control system.|
After self-research & development, specialists from Yuanda have formed a matured night scene lighting and video curtain wall system and put such system into practice successfully for dozens of projects, and incorporated it into its own curtain wall and skylight system. The main characteristics of night scene lighting and video curtain wall system are as follows:
■ This system incorporates LED system, which consumes lower energy and has a longer service life, lower maintenance costs, more abundant colors and more convenient control.
■ This system is operated and controlled by LED management software V5.5, which is researched and developed by Yuanda on its own.
■ The media information in various formats can be collected by the computer.
■ The screen control system can adjust the physical parameters of the screen and transfer the digital signal into optical signal, which will realize the remote transmission through the optical fiber.
■ The screen control system will transfer the optical signal input into digital signal and control the effect shown on the screen.
■ The audio system will enhance the effect.
■ Determining the resolution ratio and view angle according to the main reference view location.

Photovoltaic Curtain Wall
|The photovoltaic curtain wall is a type of curtain wall that integrates a photo-voltaic system. Photovoltaic panels are usually installed on the glass of the curtain wall to generate electricity from solar energy.|
Curtain wall integrated with photo voltaic generating system is called “photovoltaic curtain wall”, i.e. installing the solar PV components on the frame of the curtain wall or skylight, which will generate power by solar energy and thus realize the integration of photovoltaic and the building. The main characteristics of photovoltaic curtain wall are as follows:
■ Compared with other ways of generating power (e.g. by burning mineral materials), on one hand, the photovoltaic curtain wall can reduce the consumption of energy; on the other hand, such curtain wall system can reduce the temperature rise of wall surface and roofing effectively, which will reduce the heat-exchange between outdoor and indoor, reduce the load on the AC as well as the energy consumption.

Membrane Structure Curtain Wall
|Membrane structure curtain wall is a type of curtain wall that uses high-performance ETFE membrane as its surface material, including ETFE stretching membrane and ETFE aired membrane. The ETFE membrane has many desirable physical features such as high transparency, light weight, high resistance to aging and long life.|
This type of skylight takes the excellent light transmission material-ETFE Membrane as the skylight surface material. ETFE membrane has the features like, high light transmission ratio, light weight, long-term durability and long-term working life etc. and it can be divided into Single Layer ETFE Tensioned Membrane Structure Skylight and ETFE Air-supported Membrane Structure Skylight.
Ecologically Friendly Curtain Wall
|Ecologically friendly curtain wall is a type of ecologically friendly outer building structure that is covered by a botanical layer with a bioclimatic buffering layer. Ecologically friendly curtain walls are designed to achieve resource conservation and reduce pollution.|
|A Skylight, which consists of transparent panels and its supporting system, is the roof system that has a horizontal angle of less than 75 degrees. It provides daylighting for the building and serves other related functions. The transparent panels are usually made of glass, polycarbonate sheet and transparent membrane materials.|
|Metal roofs have panels which are made of metal, such as aluminum alloy panel, titanium-zinc panel, prefabricated steel panel and aluminum panel. The metal roof’s supporting system generally adopts a metallic structure, such as steel and aluminum alloy.|
It is the metal roof adopts metal panels (aluminum sheet, steel sheet, Titanium-Zinc sheet, etc.) as its sheet materials.
■ PVDF coating finish is used to achieve high anti-corrosion and anti-aging performance. Various colors, metallic effect and consistent color retaining capacity will bring perfect building shape and visual artistic effect.
■ System structure is similar to structural member type concealed frame curtain wall, and aluminum alloy sub frame is attached at the perimeter of metal panel which is connected to the supporting keel by a flexible and floating connection to achieve good movement absorption capacity.
■ Weather proof silicone sealant is used in panel joints sealing, and sealing sealant size will be calculated based on maximum movement condition in practical condition. Under the situation of maximum panel movement, sealant joint will not crack and can maintain good sealing capacity.
■ Double sealing inside and outside, and also inner drainage access is set. Dual secured design will ensure water proof performance of metal roof.
■ Establish 3D model assisted by computer to complete complex curved design and instruct fabrication, site set-out and installation.
■ Metal panel is fabricated by imported high-precision equipment to achieve the high flexibility, plasticity and complex curve.
|A shading system is used to shield a building from excess sunlight. It helps to improve the energy efficiency of a building by reducing the amount of air conditioning required in the building. We have applied intelligent control technology to some of our shading systems, which can automatically adjust its position in response to the sun’s path.|
Aluminum extrusions or metal panels are made into large-scale blades to form a sun-shading panel. Such panels are generally laid out of the curtain wall for the sun-shading of the building. The main technical characteristics of this system are as follows:
■ The louver is installed on a fixed supporting rig, which achieves not only sun- shading effect but also a unique architectural effect.
■ The sun-shading louver can be laid horizontally or vertically. The width of sun- shading panel can be as large as 800mm, even larger.
■ This system can be both fixed and operable. In order to obtain the optimized lighting condition, the angle of blade can be adjusted as required.
■ For the operable louver, multiple controlling modes (by hand, motor and intelligence (automatic)) are available.
|A canopy is the outer structural component of a building which is located at the entrance and exit of the building, serving the function of shielding the building from wind, rain and sunshine. Under the canopy is a semi-open space which is the exchange and transition buffer zone between the inner space and outer space of the building. Canopy is an important part of a building’s outer decoration system, which highlights the whole building.|
Functioning as wind, rain and sunshine shielding, canopy is building outer envelope structural component which is located at the exit and entrance of the building. What is under the canopy is semi-open space which is the exchange zone and the transition buffer zone between the inner space and outer space of the building. Canopy is the important part of the building outer decoration system, which highlight the whole building. Therefore, it should possess good ornamental effect besides shielding function. The major structure and technical characteristics go as follows:
■ Glass, metal sheet, stone are normally used as sheet material, supporting keel system is set inside.
■ Can be divided into frame supporting canopy, point fixing glass canopy and so on by construction form.
■ Can be divided into tension bar canopy, overhung canopy and so on by structural form.

Balustrade/Breast Board System
|A balustrade/breast board system consists of components which are applied to certain parts of the building, serving the functions of safe guarding and decoration. As an independent system, it is usually applied along the edge of accessible roof, indoor floor edge and balcony.|
Breast board system is surrounding system which is basically made up of sheet material with the exception of the supporting member, functions as safe guarding and somewhat decorating. As security member, the sheet material should possess sufficient strength and shock resistance property. Breast board system normally includes the following:
■ Glass breast board —— glass, usually laminated glass, is adopted as the main fence-up member of the system.

Fin supporting glass breast board: glass fin is adopted as supporting member, point fixing connection or structural sealant adhesion is applied between glass breast board and glass fin.
Single cantilever glass breast board: the lower side of the glass is clamped and fixed to the main structure, the upper side overhangs and stands without supporting glass fin.
■ Metal framework supported glass breast board —— two or four sides of the glass breast board sits on the metal framework, point fixing, clip or structural glazed.
■ Metal breast board —— in addition to supporting member, metal sheet is used as fence-up material. Hole drilling or pattern engraving may be applied to the metal sheet according to decorative effect needs. Sheet material mainly adopted includes: aluminum alloy sheet, steel sheet, stainless steel sheet,etc.
Energy Saving Aluminum Doors and Windows System
|Energy-saving aluminum alloy doors and windows are made of thermal insulation aluminum alloy extrusions and energy-saving glass, all of which can be recycled.|
